After the separation of six months, she quit her job and decided to move her son to his father to try for an opportunity to live a more fulfilling life within Sao Paulo however, being very vain and ambitious the main reason she left the South was to become a wealthy and well-known. Andressa Urach writes in her memoir Morri Para Viver about her experience of sexual assault from her foster father, that occurred between the ages of 2 and 8. She only managed to get out of this mess since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the abuse and Andressa returned to live with her mother. She did not know about the abuse she endured until Andressa published her book. The famous woman said in interviews that she had accomplished something that, to her, was unattainable prior to her spiritual transformation: forgiving her abuser. One of the hardest choices I've ever had to make was to call the man who sexually assaulted me. It wasn't an simple decision. After many prayer symphonies and fasting, I proclaimed on the phone that I forgive him, and while I didn't feel guiltless, I asked to forgive him. But I did ask forgiveness without justifying my actions. Mariste Urach recounts her experience to Globo in an intimate interview after she learned that sexual harassment was being perpetrated on her daughter. The reason she traveled was to take revenge on the pedophile who lives on the outskirts of Rio Grande do Sul.
